  1. As far as the album itself, Depeche Mode themselves acknowledge it's not one of their best. There are some gems on this one, including Leave in Silence, My Secret Garden, and Shouldn't Have Done That/The Sun & the Rainfall. I don't remember hearing the instrumental Nothing to Fear on the CD, and didn't realize how cool it is/5().

  2. Depeche Mode's second outing entitled "A Broken Frame" is far away from being 'a broken frame'. In fact, I have to say that this is an absolutely fabulous album.   6. The fact that this is the ONLY Depeche Mode album of the about quarter of a century career, that doesn't include a single solitary DM all time classic, is disarming. To say the least. But fear not completely, A Broken Frame has a few great songs, such as the moody instrumental "Nothing To Fear", the bouncy "The Meaning Of Love" and "Monument.

  8. Depeche Mode- A Broken Frame. CD I'm a big Depeche Mode fan have been for 24 yrs now! I remember this album when i was young one of the first ones i bought by them. I've collected loads of stuff by them since! I had this album on cd 15yrs ago but that along with aload of other cds got nicked in a house break in.
